What we got up to in November

So the month of November seems so long ago now what with all the Christmas excitement but we had a lovely month.
We went on some lovely trips out to visit the animals at Butterfly World and to feed the squirrels at Old Town Park Gardens.
We made lots of beautiful firework and bonfire pictures. One of the children’s favourite activities was mark making with salt in the tuff tray- their creations were amazing!
As ever the children have been busy in the kitchen and have made banana bread, chocolate sparklers and their very own play doh!
Julia Donaldson books are a firm favourite so we have been sharing our favourite ones, putting on Gruffalo puppet shows, making nature jars with the treasures we found whilst going on a Gruffalo hunt and practising our scissor skills creating collages of all the animals in what the ladybird heard.

As a childminder I strive to provide an environment where children are able to develop in a homely, caring setting. I aim to give the children in my care freedom to explore and experience activities in various locations, such as Forests, Museums, Farm parks and beaches to name a few.
