We’ve had a very merry Christmas

What a lovely, very busy and festive month we had filled with all things Christmas! We hope all of you had the most magical Christmas with your families.

We started our month making special advent snowmen to help us count down the days until Christmas, we made snowmen using cotton wool and got very excited every time we found ice on our tuff tray. Sienna and Connie loved hearing the noise the smashing ice made!

We visited Coate water and got to see all the birds being fed, we love our Tuesdays in Tockenham village hall with all our friends from Apples childminding, lots of trips to Avebury, Lydiard and Stanton Park too.

We also donated over 100 items we had collected to our local food bank – all the children loved bringing their bags of food in to help other people.

We’ve painted Christmas decorations, made Christmas cards, made Christmas trees with foam and water beads, made reindeer food and lots more! We had so much fun at our Christmas parties and had special visits from Santa Bear & Santa where we each got a gift, it made our day.

What a lovely December we all had!

As a childminder I strive to provide an environment where children are able to develop in a homely, caring setting. I aim to give the children in my care freedom to explore and experience activities in various locations, such as Forests, Museums, Farm parks and beaches to name a few.
