Autumn

This month we have absolutely loved the change in seasons, what could be better than watching the leaves change colour and going on nature treasure hunts. The children all made delicious apple crumbles to take home with apples that Freddie, Luca and Jonah collected from their Granny’s tree. The children peeled and chopped the apples and made the crumble topping too- we hear they were delicious!
We have been enjoying the great outdoors and have collected sticks, leaves and conkers to use for lots of things. We’ve made clay hedgehogs with stick spines, hedgehog pictures with our colourful leaves and have had lots of fun with the weighing scales experimenting to see whether the conkers, lentils or woodland toys were heavier.
We also spent a lovely morning drinking hot chocolate in the garden whilst listening to Percy the Park keeper books. We love Autumn that’s for sure!
We also celebrated Felix turning 1, what a very special birthday for our youngest sunshine bear!

I live and work in Royal Wootton Bassett a small market town in Wiltshire, England. I am married and have two children. My son and daughter attends Broad Town Primary School. As a childminder I strive to provide an environment where children are able to develop in a homely, caring setting. I aim to give the children in my care freedom to explore and experience activities in various locations, such as Forests, Museums, Farm parks and beaches to name a few.
