Summer Holidays so far

We’ve only been on our summer holidays for a week and have already had adventures to Avebury, Savernake, Westonbirt and Dyrham Park. At Savernake we all had a go at safely lighting a fire for a tasty snack of crumpets and marshmallows, built dens and after all the excitement our little ones all enjoyed a nap listening to the birds. We spent a lovely day at Avebury enjoying the gardens, looking for fish in the pond and playing in the kitchen. The highlight was all having a go at using the water paints or oil pastels to create a masterpiece. The children painted some beautiful pictures including the church, the house, some butterflies and the trees we could see. What a very peaceful way to spend the day!
