March

What a busy month we had! We celebrated world book day by bringing in our favourite books to share with our friends and dressing up. Chloe even dressed up as the witch from The Room on the Broom. One of our favourite books is the very hungry caterpillar so we decided to put on a puppet show and act the story out. We also did butterfly paintings and learnt about symmetry.Like the hungry caterpillar we learnt all about healthy eating and made delicious fruit kebabs. We all helped with the chopping. We wanted to spot more wildlife in the garden so we made sure our bird feeders were topped up with yummy seed then we waited with our binoculars. We also helped plant a beautiful herb garden to help the insects in the summer months. We had our very own tank of frogspawn which throughout the month changed into tadpoles and then frogs. We loved watching them change every day. We finished the month making our Mother’s Day cards and gifts.
