It’s safe to say that January didn’t start in the way we all thought it would. Our exciting adventures out have had to stop for the moment so that we all stay safe. However, Chloe and myself have tried to create as a normal environment as we can for the children and we have still managed to learn lots through play and fun! Here is a taste of what we have got up to this month.
The Children and I decided to look for some new games to play with. As you can see they are really enjoying them.
We have been looking at the topic of winter and have enjoyed lots of activities around this subject. We have made penguins out of different shapes, we put in size order lots of different winter objects, we made a snow person and practiced our scissor skills. We have even done water colour painting on snow! We have really focused on our numbers this month and have found lots of fun ways to learn them. We even made our own weighing scales and experimented with lots of different objects to see which was heaviest.
